This Privacy Policy describes how Kindthing LLC d/b/a Wildwoven ("Wildwoven", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or buy from https://wildwoven.com, including checkout at checkout.wildwoven.com (together, the "Site"), or when you contact us.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone and some of the cookies installed on your device. As you browse, we also collect information about the pages and products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site. We call this "Device Information."

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

  • "Cookies" are data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable them, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • "Log files" record actions on the Site, including your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date and time stamps.
  • "Web beacons", "tags" and "pixels" are small files that record how you browse the Site.

When you make or attempt a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and payment information. Card details are entered into Shopify's checkout and processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. We call this "Order Information."

We also collect the information you choose to give us: your email address when you sign up for our newsletter or a back-in-stock alert, the messages and photos you send our customer care team, the details you enter to start a return, and any product review you submit.

When we talk about "Personal Information" in this policy, we mean Device Information, Order Information and the information you give us.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use Order Information to fulfill orders placed through the Site, including processing payment, arranging shipping and returns, and sending order confirmations and shipping updates. We also use it to:

  • communicate with you and answer your questions;
  • screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, send you information or advertising about our products.

We use Device Information to help screen for risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address) and, more generally, to improve the Site, for example by measuring how customers browse the Site and how well our marketing and advertising campaigns work.

If you sign up for emails, we send you news about new prints, restocks and sales. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and a back-in-stock alert only covers the item you asked about.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share Personal Information with service providers that help us run the store, as described above:

  • Shopify powers our online store, checkout, customer accounts, Shopify Payments and Shop Pay, store analytics, and our marketing emails. You can read how Shopify uses your Personal Information at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • International orders are processed through Shopify Managed Markets with Global-e, which acts as the seller of record for those orders and receives the Order Information it needs to calculate duties and taxes, take payment and clear customs. See https://www.global-e.com/privacy-policy/.
  • Warehouses, shipping label services and carriers receive your name, address, phone number and order contents so they can pack and deliver your order and process returns.
  • Email and customer care tools: we use Google Workspace for our customer care inbox and Resend to send some service emails, such as back-in-stock alerts. We also use AI tools to help sort and answer customer messages. Decisions about refunds, store credit and order changes are made by a person on our team.
  • Reviews: Judge.me hosts the product reviews on our Site. If you submit a review, your name and review are published and Judge.me processes your email address.
  • Analytics and advertising: we use Google Analytics, Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel and the TikTok pixel to understand how customers use the Site and to measure and show our ads. We may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request, or to otherwise protect our rights.

We do not sell your Personal Information for money. Some privacy laws treat the use of advertising pixels for targeted advertising as "selling" or "sharing" personal information. You can ask us to stop using your information this way by emailing support@wildwoven.com, and you can use the opt-out tools below.

TARGETED ADVERTISING

As described above, we use your Personal Information to show you targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may interest you. You can opt out of targeted advertising through:

DO NOT TRACK

Please note that we do not alter the Site's data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Canada and several US states, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email support@wildwoven.com from the address on your order or account. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information to fulfill our contract with you (for example, when you place an order), with your consent where the law requires it, or to pursue the legitimate business interests described above. Your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States and Canada.

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we keep your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, except where we must keep it longer for tax, accounting or legal reasons.

MINORS

We make clothes for children, but the Site is meant for the adults who buy them. The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
